I absolutely LOVE the strong sense of community you can have when you live here. I run the Social Committee for RaBC so I organize major family oriented events for the residents all year long. We have a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt, July 4th Parade and Pool Party, a Fall Festival complete with vendors, and hay rides through the neighborhood at Christmas time to see all the beautifully decorated homes. These events give our residents the opportunity to get out and meet their neighbors. I know too many people in other neighborhoods who say they MIGHT know their next door neighbor and that’s about it. Our neighborhood likes to create reasons to get together. Aside from the sponsored events I organize, we also have unofficial groups that have since formed such as a neighborhood poker group, bunco, gardening club, lots of informal block parties, etc.
